What can we say about handsome Hector, well he is handsome, big, boisterous bouncy and excitable! This 2 year old hunk hasn’t been given much structure or training and so he has a lot to learn, but we have every confidence in him and in the right experienced home (currently looking for a foster home) he will blossom. He knows basic commands, sit, down and no. He walks fabulous on a canny collar and we would recommend this collar to continue as without it he is very hard to walk. He is great on a longline lead and is happy to run around being goofy. As he is in kennels at the moment he only has brief assessments, but he is good with his food (humans) although not food tested with other dogs. He also prefers girlie doggies rather than male.
Hector comes across as a huge dog with no manners but once you take him out and he has some freedom he is a very loving boy and settles down – at the moment everything is very excitable to him. We are ideally looking for an experienced foster home before he goes to his forever home, or a forever home that are willing to put in the training and discipline that a dog of his size needs.
